Light instead of illumination

Already as a painter, Thomas Emde developed new processes in order to realize the basic principle of his art: pure colour without having to use an additional supporting material. But at his architectural art projects he came up against aesthetical and technical limiting factors: light always had to be added as an external source of illumination. This was the initial point for the development of illuminated emdelight glass.

emdelight glass is far more than an innovative product for the artist: "Our illuminated glass is a new material and a new tool we put at the disposal of ambitious architects, interiour or porduct designers."

The basic product is an illuminated galss with freely adjustable colour and brightness. Due to its versatility, it can be used in many areas of application and may be adapted into many different requirements. With emdelight glass the vision of an individual, flexible design with light becomes true.
